iNtegrate Admissions Module - Off and Running. . .

iNtegrate Admissions Module - Off and Running. . .

The Student Services Phase of PeopleSoft includes five modules that work independently but cooperatively to build the new system. With Recruitment/Admissions (AD) being the entry point for new student records, it was naturally the first module out of the gate and will be the first to go live in late September or early October.

UNLV's Admissions Module Team includes a module lead as well as a person with functional/technical expertise and an individual who documents all steps along the way and writes and delivers training guides.

After a couple shorter campus-wide information gathering sessions, the AD module kicked off a discovery period that lasted from September to January. During this time, information was gathered regarding current practices with consultants (PeopleSoft Experts) to guide how processes would occur in the new system.

A focus of the iNtegrate Project is to not only adapt current practices but to look for opportunities to improve upon and make past practice more efficient. As the discovery period comes to an end, AD finds itself well positioned for the next chapter which includes the actual building of the system and the completion of the training documentation.

Stay tuned for future updates when AD moves to testing and training and prepares for "Go Live."
